PhotonHub was proud to participate in the Global Photonics Economic Forum (GPEF) 2025, held in Málaga, Spain 🇪🇸, from 7–8 October. The event, organised by Optica, brought together leaders from across the global photonics community, including researchers, startups, investors and industry representatives, to discuss the economic impact and strategic growth of photonics worldwide.
The forum opened with insightful remarks from Jose Pozo (CTO, Optica) and other key industry figures, highlighting the importance of collaboration, resilience and innovation in strengthening the photonics ecosystem.
Throughout the event, PhotonHub showcased how it is driving photonics innovation across industries, supporting companies and research teams with access to advanced technology, training opportunities and investment readiness services.
Nathalie Debaes and Susan Brindley from our Front Office Team welcomed visitors at booth #37, engaging with partners and participants interested in accelerating their photonics journey through PhotonHub’s Europe-wide support network.
We were delighted to connect with so many enthusiastic professionals and to exchange ideas on how to shape the future of photonics together.
