What to expect

In this training, we will provide an overview of sensing applications where photonics can provide significant added value, supported by many inspiring examples. We show how optical design and freeform optics components support those sensing applications and which capabilities are available within PhotonHub to support your innovation challenges.

Course outcomes

The participant will learn about optical sensing in various applications, and how the freeform optical components needed for those applications can be custom designed, prototyped and upscaled, using the Freeform Optics pilot line at VUB.
