About the forum

The European Photonics Venture Forum, organised by Tech Tour as Tech Tour Photonics 2027, is a 1.5-day investment programme that connects high-potential photonics companies with Europe’s investment and industry community. More than 30 selected companies will present to an audience of over 120 investors, corporates and experts, with the aim of building lasting investment and partnership relationships.

Who should apply?

The forum is open to emerging and growth-stage companies, from Seed to Series A and beyond, that want to sharpen their strategy, raise investment and form strategic partnerships. It covers two broad areas:

• Photonics: production technology and machine vision, communications and optical components, lighting and displays, photonics technologies, and quantum
• Photonics-enabled: medical and healthcare, defence and security, manufacturing and Industry 4.0, energy and climate, mobility and logistics, and cybersecurity and space

An Expert Panel of investors and industry leaders scouts, reviews and ranks all applications to choose the companies that will pitch.
